New Music Friday!

It’s New Music Friday time – and not only that but it’s a Bank Holiday special!

It’s officially bank holiday weekend here in the UK and what a weather we have gotten for it. This whole week has been glorious and it really has felt like summer

Scoops (Konmax X Marty Guilfoyle remix) – Stuck on you

Stuck on you was firstly released on Scoop’s first EP Scenes of Joy and have now been rereleased with some help from Konmax X Marty Guilfoyle. The song has gotten a brilliant remix that will fit in perfectly in all the summer playlists.

Carly Rae Jepson – Cut to the feeling

Carly Rae Jepson is back. Now I don’t know about you but I can only name two songs that she’s previously released. I mean who can forget Call me maybe or I really like you – the music video had non-other than Tom Hanks in it. Cut to the feeling defiantly have the summer vibes written all over it and it’s one of those songs that are hard to sit still to.

Frans – Liar

Frans is a Swedish singer that first made his mark on the music scene when he was just 6 years old and release a song about Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Years later he represented Sweden in Eurovision song contest and Liar is his latest release in the wait for his debut album. Liar might not be a dance track but the melody has a nice beat in it for all of those calm summer evenings.

Martin Garrix ft Troye Sivan – There for you

Martin Garrix is back with a new hit. On there for you, Martin is collaborating with Troye Sivan. Troye Sivan started out as an actor going YouTuber before starting releasing his own music. The two of them have collaborated on an absolute summer smash. There for you will get you on your feet and get that groove on.

Little Mix ft Stormzy – Power

Little Mix has done it again. The girl power pop band has join forces with the Grime master Stormzy in this power song called just that Power. The girls might have gotten a few negative comments regarding their appearance lately but they do some catchy and dance-worthy songs and this is not an exception.

Nick Jonas ft Anne-Marie & Mike Posner – Remember I told you

The youngest of the Jonas Brothers has done it again. Since the JB guys split up, Nick Jonas have taken his music into a new direction. Remember I told you has a very similar style to the vibe that was on the material from his albums Nick Jonas & Last Year was complicated. I believe that Remember I told you will be played a lot at the summer parties and festivals.

Marika Hackman – Cigarette

This is the first song that I have ever heard from Marika Hackman and I’m hooked. Her mellow voice and the soft guitar in this song makes me picture having this song playing out of the speaker while I’m sitting in a garden chair with candles, wine and watching the sunset. I dare you to listen to this song with closed eyes and not dream about the same.

Rita Ora – Your song

It’s been a while since we got new music from Rita and I have to say that she is coming back with a bang. Sticking to what she knows the best, this is defiantly one hit song. Like most of Rita’s songs, Your song is one catchy song that makes you want to get up and groove with the music. It has a fun beat and an easy chorus that will have you singing along after the first time you hear it. What more can you request of a tune?

Noah Cyrus – I’m Stuck

The little sister of Miley Cyrus is really starting to make her own mark on the music scene. Her newest release I’m stuck is one of my favorites. The song has influents of a bit of country feeling about it at the same time as it’s very dance friendly. I can see this song as being one of those sing-along songs that will get every to join in.

Lucy Rose – No Good at all

Lucy Rose is another artist that I haven’t listen to before but she defiantly has won a new fan in me. No Good at all is an another song that I see myself blaring loudly when sitting outside enjoying the summer evening. It beat in the song is a nice groove what will have you move slightly but not in a full on dance routine.

Eric Saade – Another Week

Eric Saade is another Swedish singer that made his big debut in the music scene when he represented Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest. Another Week is the first single release since Eric’s break from the music scene. Another week is a classic summer dance track that will have people all over the world dancing this summer. I can imagine that this song will play a bit in places like Ibiza and other party places this summer.
